This antique Japanese Inban (transfer-printed) porcelain dish was made during the late Meiji to Taisho period (c.1890–1920s).
The intricate blue design was created using the traditional Inban transfer-printing technique, while the delicate pink accents were carefully added by hand, making it an example of Inban Hand-Colored (手彩) tableware.
Originally made for everyday use, these charming small dishes are now appreciated as collectible examples of Japanese folk ceramics. Perfect for serving soy sauce, condiments, sweets, or as a decorative trinket dish.
