Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for shopping with us. Please read our return, refund, and cancellation policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Change-of-Mind Returns

We do not accept returns or refunds for change-of-mind reasons, except where required by applicable law.

Please review all product photos, descriptions, sizes, conditions, and details carefully before placing your order.

Many of our items may be vintage, antique, handmade, collectible, or one-of-a-kind. These items may have natural variations, signs of age, or small imperfections.

2. Return Period

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

For customers in the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days after receiving the item, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

3. Return Conditions

If a return is accepted, the item must be returned in the same condition that you received it.

Returned items must be:

  • Unused

  • Undamaged

  • In the same condition as received

  • With any original tags, labels, accessories, and packaging where possible

Items sent back to us without first contacting us and receiving return instructions will not be accepted.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at yorozu2japan@gmail.com

Please include the following information:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the item

  • Clear photos of the outer box

  • Clear photos of the packaging materials

  • Clear photos of the shipping label

Please keep the item, original packaging, packaging materials, and shipping label until the issue is resolved.

We may need this information to evaluate the case and file a claim with the shipping carrier.

After reviewing the case, we may offer an appropriate solution, such as:

  • A refund

  • A partial refund

  • A replacement, if available

  • Other appropriate support

5. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.

This may include:

  • Final sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Items that have been used, damaged, altered, or handled beyond what is necessary to inspect them

  • Items returned without prior approval or return instructions

6. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued after we receive and inspect the returned item, if a return is required.

If approved, the refund will be made to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

7. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns where applicable, unless the item is defective, damaged upon arrival, incorrect, or unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Returns must be sent using a tracked shipping service with shipping costs prepaid by the customer.

We do not accept cash-on-delivery returns, postage-due shipments, collect-on-delivery shipments, or returns that require any payment upon delivery.

We are not responsible for returned items that are lost in transit.

8. Return Procedure

If return requests through customer accounts are available on our store, you may also submit a return request through your customer account.

Submitting a return request does not guarantee that the return will be accepted. We will review each request according to this policy.

Please include your order number and details of your request.

For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, please also include clear photos of the item, outer box, packaging materials, and shipping label.

If your return request is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package.

Items sent back without prior approval and return instructions will not be accepted.

9. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled only before they have been shipped.

If your order has already been shipped, we cannot cancel it.

In that case, any return or refund request will be handled according to this policy.

10. Exchanges

Because many of our items are vintage, antique, handmade, collectible, or one-of-a-kind, we do not usually offer exchanges.

If you have an issue with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

11. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days after receiving the item, for any reason and without justification, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

To exercise this right, please contact us within 14 days after receiving your item.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, incorrect, or unless otherwise required by applicable law.

The item must be returned in the same condition that you received it.

Customers may be responsible for any loss in value if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics, and condition.

This policy does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
